Others
The term “Others” refers to a group of Arweinydd who choose to remain isolated in the pocket dimension called the Arweinydd Dimension (also, sometimes the Arweinydd Realms). Most of these Arweinydd are unformed and unnamed, and have no interaction with the physical, Earthian worlds.
The Others tend to hold a number of general misconceptions including:
- All Dragon-Kin are enemies of Arweinydd and wish to consume Arweinydd energy
- All Sygni are enemies of Arweinydd and should be destroyed
- Taking on an Earthian form is the first step to embracing Chaos
- Remaining safely within the Arweinydd Realms is an assurance one will never have a brush with Chaos
- Remaking another Arweinydd is the only way to remove Chaos energy that may have taken root within them
Wayrift cast members who were once a part of the Others include:
In Wayrift Chapter 58, a group of Others, led by Archodys, first appeared in the story. Though the other three Arweinydd were formless and unnamed, the two blue-colored Arweinydd are identified as female, and referred to as “The Twins,” while the purple-colored Arweinydd would later become Omakyn (though he is not identified as such in Chapter 58).
When Archodys was unable to Remake Zemi and Zazo as he set out to do, he began working with Simon to find the power to overcome Zemi. This, however, backfired on Wayrift Chapter 89 Pg 22, whereupon Simon betrayed Archodys. This also stripped Archodys of his leadership position and connection with the Others.
Little is known about what the remaining Others are currently doing. Without Archodys to motivate them to move against the Earthian worlds, they may remain peacefully hiding away in their pocket dimension.
