Luccious' Sword

Also sometimes called Luccious' Blade.
This sword was used by Sygni from the Time Before, specifically to slay Arweinydd. It holds the memories of those battles and death, and is thought to bear the curse of their twisted insanity. The type of blade is undetermined, but it has elements that appear similar to a katana in terms of the grip shape.
Luccious' Claim
During the story of Dreigiau, the sword was discovered by Luccious in the Obelisk off the southern coast where it had been hidden submerged since the Time Before. The blade can channel wild spirit energies, empowering and influencing the wielder to carry out bloodthirsty acts.
When Lucci took hold of the sword, it triggered his full Sygnus transformation.
Lucci described the sword as:
A very long, slender blade, sheathed in a cloth so black that it seemed to drink away the light. The hilt was glowing silver, ornately inlayed with glittery black patterns that gracefully drew down the length of the grip. As his mind focused on the sword, he felt both great hope and dread fill him.
When Lucci reached out to claim the sword:
As his fist closed around the hilt, Lucci could feel the meshing between himself and the artifact. The two cold energies were drawn to each other, flowing through him, binding him. It empowered him with knowledge and skill of those who gripped the blade before.
Images flashed before his eyes. Memories. He could see it all. He could feel it all. The lives of those who came and passed. Those who lived in that place in a time before time remembered. And the lives of those that the blade took.
A flash of another vision. Lucci watched as his hand drew the blade free from the scabbard. The hand did not look like his own. The black-silver blade glittered with malice, and as it came free, he could see that it was stained with blood.
He stared down at the length of the sword, numb with power. Numb with the sheer amount of emotion. Numb with memory over memory over memory drowning out his own vision.
Later, the sword was used as a weapon against the Nefolian people, taking the life of many, including ZenToYa, Aur, and KudakoRe.
After Luccious' defeat during the Coming of the Darkstar story, Zemi sealed Luccious’ spirit into the blade to preserve him. The sword was then given to the care of FuSoYa and Bahamut, sealed once more on the Red Moon.
Wayrift
Kip claimed the sword in the name of vengeance and was granted its use for a short time by the shade of Luccious (Wayrift Chapter 78, Pg7). After Kip was defeated, the sword was once more returned to the Red Moon under stronger watch. However, the sword’s guardians were unaware that Archodys had stolen away on it and would claim the relic in attempt to turn Zemi to Chaos (Wayrift Chapter 89, Pg4).
At the end of this battle, Simon instructed Archodys to break the blade, which caused a dangerous interdimensional instability (Wayrift Chapter 89 Pg15), and also released the slumbering Dark Sygnus, Luccious (Wayrift Chapter 91, Pg1).
The broken remains of the sword are currently in Luccious’ keeping (Wayrift Chapter 91, Pg12).
