FuSoYa is the Administrator of the Lunarian colony on the new Lunar homeworld. He is the son of SoYa and AsaHi Ya, and older half-brother to KluYa.

Runne

Fu is a native of the planet Runne – the once fifth planet - which was destroyed in the conflict with the Dark Sygnus, Luccious. He was born to caring parents who lived remotely outside of the Manor city limits, and his young childhood was a peaceful one.

However, even at a young age, Fu displayed an aptitude for a wide range of magical abilities, including potent Mind Magic that he inherited from his father’s lineage. This caught the eye of the Manor, who forcefully took Fu away from his family for more formal training in the city.

This was a traumatic incident that shaped Fu’s life and put him at odds with his father, SoYa, whom he held responsible for not fighting back against the Manor. It was also this rift between father and son that inspired SoYa to build Anarchy, the rebellion force against the Manor, though this went unknown to Fu for a very long time.

Being kept at the Manor against his will ignited a bitter anger in Fu as a youth, and he was known for using his magical aptitude for intimidating others and lashing out in his displeasure. As he grew older, he rose in the ranks of the Manor quickly, despite his poor attitude and constant struggle against any sort of authority figure in the establishment.

Little did he know, he was only able to get away with this behavior because he was under the protection of his uncle, TsuYa, who acted as the head of the Manor Council. Fu was often in direct conflict with Zemus, and was also usually at odds with KiNaTu.

Though, known to be a loner, Fu did have two childhood friends who lived in the Manor - BikKuRi (Bikk) and NikKoRi (Nikko). Nikko became Fu’s significant other, and they had plans on becoming Bonded, though this didn’t happen as the situation on Runne became more and more dire. In the end, neither Bikk nor Nikko survived the destruction of the planet.

Guardianship

It was a number of years after the passing of SoYa that Fu got word that AsaHi had also passed away – though Fu had suspicions that the Manor was instrumental in the death of both of his parents. It was then that he learned that he had a younger brother, KluYa.

Being the only living family - and Fu being an adult at that point - the Manor placed KluYa into FuSoYa’s guardianship. Fu agreed to this, at first, a bit begrudgingly. But it didn’t take long for the two brothers to make a strong connection, and for Fu to dedicate this part of his life to raising the child and protecting him from the machinations of the Manor.

It was this experience and brotherly relationship that helped soften his bitter and angry spirit. Through this, he learned to embrace a protective nature and began to grow into the leader he would need to be in later years.

Fu had suspicions that KluYa was not the son of SoYa, which only became more and more apparent as the boy grew up. In short time, Fu found himself tangled up in plans of Arweinydd and Sygnus, doing everything he could to keep his brother safe as their homeworld began to fracture around them.

Together, KluYa and FuSoYa were instrumental in working to put in place a Runne evacuation plan and construct the facilities of the Red Moon. However, when the time came, they were not able to initiate the wide-spread evacuation they hoped to achieve, and were only able to rescue a small population, including current students in the school at the Manor and a few other randoms, such as Zemus and Fisk.

Red Moon

Watching the destruction of his homeworld, and experiencing loss on such a grand scale, was the second major event that shaped FuSoYa’s life. He now found himself the guardian of what was left of his entire race of people – most of whom were no more than mere children.

Fu took this duty to heart, refusing to reside in coldsleep like the rest of the population. This was partially because he did not feel comfortable without keeping constant watch over Zemus, and partially just Fu’s way of dealing with his grief.

He was also faced with the moral question of whether or not to move ahead with introducing his people to the Blue Planet – which was able to bear life, but had a society of its own developing already. Eventually, he and KluYa began to have differing opinions on how to approach this, with KluYa restless and in favor of initiating contact with the humans.

Fu spent the majority of his lifetime in his vigil watching over the people of the Moon, so much so, that he had aged significantly by the time the Crystal Wars came about.

Blue Planet

FuSoYa finally broke his vow of non-interference with the Blue Planet when Cecil found his way to the Red Moon. It was then that Fu informed Cecil of his heritage and offered his assistance in taking down the Giant of Babil. This led to Fu releasing Ben from Zemus’ mind control, and them teaming up to put a stop to the dark Lunar’s plans.

He was present for Zeromus’ defeat, and agreed to take in Ben to join the Lunars of the Red Moon afterwards. It was then FuSoYa chose to divert the orbit of the Red Moon away from the Blue Planet, and search for another world for his people to populate.

Wayrift

In the Wayrift era, the Lunarians have colonized the New Lunar Homeworld (which happens to be the original Nefolian world). FuSoYa acts as the Administrator over the colony, and also teaches a few special students, such as NaTu.

While the Lunar colony remains on good relations with nations of the Blue Planet and other colonies on the Nefolian planet, FuSoYa continues to keep his people relatively secluded for the time being. He is generally open to offering assistance when others request it – namely in situations that deal with unraveling Lunar-related issues.

In one such situation, Fu found himself pulled through an unstable Black Hole rift (Wayrift Chapter 89, Page 16), which took him and Aiden KluYa to the Red Moon of the Bluestar dimension. Due to the highly unusual nature of the rift’s energy, he emerged from the portal far younger than he entered (Wayrift Chapter 89, Page 21).

It’s during this adventure that FuSoYa first meets Shape. Though just how their relationship is going to develop in Wayrift’s current version is yet to be seen.

Skills and Abilities

  • He’s extremely knowledgeable and skilled in all types of White and Black magics.
  • He’s also a very powerful Mind Mage in a family line known for talented Athrylith.
  • He trained in his youth as a battle mage, and has a firm knowledge of staff fighting.
  • Despite his small stature, his reputation and demeanor are often intimidating enough to stave off unwanted conflict. Not too many people seek to cross the Lunarian Administrator.
