History
SaRaYa was the younger sister of ZenToYa. Like her brother, she was raised under the guidance of Zemi Dreigiau. After the founding of Nefol, she worked tirelessly to protect and uphold the integrity of the School and the knowledge of magic and science that it spread across many cultures.
Upon Zento’s vanishing, she sought to keep watch over her two nephews – SoYa and TsuYa - as the politics within Nefol grew fiercer. SaRa was well aware of the trouble that had befallen her brother during his Awakening, and that he was still alive during the time he was deemed dead.
When things finally got too dangerous to remain within Nefol, SaRa fled with SoYa and Suzume, leading them to Ceiswyr. There, they were reunited with Zento and TsuYa, and discovered AsaHi and Zemi were also within the floating islands. From then on, SaRa supported her brother’s plight and provided nurturing care for whomever needed her guidance.
SaRa ultimately gave her life during the battle against Zerom, protecting JouKa and Suzume (Dreigiau Book 4, Chapter 18). Though her death had nothing to do with Luccious, and he even led her spirit away from the Mists to protect her, this was a catalyst for the clash between Zento and Luccious. It lead to Zento’s eventual death at the hand of the Dark Sygnus.
Character
SaRa was a level-headed, soft-spoken woman. She never had a family of her own, claiming the students were like her own children, and many Nefolian apprentices grew up under her guidance. Just as important as any Master in Nefol, SaRa was the caretaker, confidant, and mother-figure.
She was also a long-time companion of KudakoRe. Though nothing was fully confirmed, there appeared to be a mutual attraction between the two of them.
Skills
Though SaRa had almost as wide a range of talent with magic as her brother did, she chose to place her full attention on pursuing knowledge in the realms of healing arts. It was through her teaching that SoYa also trained in healing magic during his younger years.
