Sahagin (Water Lizard)
Sahagin are humanoid lizard folk who live upon the Blue Planet. While they’re most often known for their water variation, they can also be found in other environments, such as in the desert. They are most commonly seen to inhabit the underground water way under Baron Castle.
There are different clans of water lizards, some being more feral and bestial, while others preferring a peaceful life far away from human settlements in forest ponds or rural lakes. There are some water lizard clans who are more humanoid than others, and possess great intelligence and human-like qualities. There are some theories that somewhere in the long past, some lizard folk may have intermingled with humans to produce half-breed offspring.
Wayrift characters known to have some form of Sahagin blood include:
- Azure was originally a full-blooded water lizard before Simon’s biomancy gave her a human form.
- All four children of Azure and KoGuRai. However, Cornflower and Colby are the only two who display physical water lizard traits.
- Baigan Browning - was dormant until activated.
- Bradhoc Browning - was dormant until activated.
