Elementals
Elementals are individuals who possess a very strong affinity for specific natural elemental powers of the Blue Planet. While there can be blends of elements – such as Storm elementals (water + wind) – typical elementals generally lean towards mastery of one of the major four elements – water, fire, wind or earth.
Some elementals are human in origin, and maintain a human form. Others are more creature-like or spirit-like in nature, and may even appear as the elements themselves.
Elemental Lords
Individuals who possess exceptional elemental power are celebrated as Elemental Lords. These rare elementals do commonly command a small blend of elemental abilities, but can often channel one element to such a massive degree that they harbor a secondary elemental transformation.
Four Fiends
During the Crystal Wars, the Four Fiends employed by Golbez were Elemental Lords of the Blue Planet. After their defeat and the fall of Zeromus, the (retired) Elemental Lords who survived the war now peacefully reside in relative secrecy in the Enchanted Forest. Milon refers to this group as the “Friends” rather than the “Fiends.”
