This has been a project a long time in the coming, but I’d wanted to finish building the HTML archives for this main site before I began anything new. I’d like to announce that as of today, I’ve created a new mirror site for Wayrift on the Comic Fury host.

For a good chunk of time, I’ve been of the mind that keeping Wayrift on its main site – and only here – was for the best. But there was a time long, long ago that Wayrift (and Shimmer) had an active readership on the old Drunk Duck site (how many of you remember those days?). I’m not exactly sure why I chose to remove Wayrift from mirror sites, but it had something to do with building it out as a WordPress site, I think.

Anyhow, long story short, my hope is that putting up a mirror site – which I hope will update every day – will help to bring Wayrift to new readers, and perhaps make new friends. After careful consideration, and chatting on the Comic Fury forums, I chose this specific host. I really like the features Comic Fury provides and the folks there also seem great!

If you happen to frequent Comic Fury and have an account, please consider subscribing to Wayrift! This is all being built from scratch from the very first comic page, so there’s no comments nor subscribers yet. And if you don’t have a Comic Fury account, give it a look! There’s a lot of passionate comic creators there, and it reminds me a lot of the old web days.
