Necromancer
This is one who engages in Necromancy, the magical arts of communing with the dead or reanimating corpses for their own purposes. While this is not a common practice on the Blue Planet, such mages do exist.
The most immediate example of a Necromancer in Wayrift is Vake the Bonewarper. It’s through his power that he was able to detect KoGuRai’s helm, an artifact that was still strongly imbued with the spirit residue of its previous owner. Vake used this connection to revive the once Dark Champion, and restore him to the living world.
