Tai: Because you don't need a crystal anymore.

Kory: There has to be something with your mind-body signature that has returned you to balance.

Kip: Pure fluke. I connected to a power that was greater than a lesser crystal... I'm built to draw in and diffuse energy, however. *touches his face plate* I can't say for sure how that resulted in me becoming energy-independent, however.
