Kip: Not your choice? *swings down from the cockpit*

Drake: We are born according to our talent and duties. *jumps down, too* My purpose is to remove aberrations from the system.

Kip: *puts his coat on* We can't help what we are born as. And have little choice in what we're made into even after the fact, it seems. *murmurs, touching his face plate* There's not a lot of choice in anything... just a lot of chance... a lot of luck, good or bad... and a ton of circumstance.

Drake: Nonsense. *looks at Kip* I have no doubt that you got yourself into the situation that you did.

Kip: Probably.

Drake: Had nothing to do with luck or chance. *pfft*
