Zeb: Then what is it like? Tell me? What is it like that you can so easily become accepted... if not adored.. at least tolerated?

Ben: That's where you're wrong. I'm not accepted... adored... and in some places not tolerated. Even in Baron, there's a lot of unease. People question Cecil's choice... and even Cecil seems to be watching me for any sign that I'm going to turn on him. If you don't believe me, look at the way Leona thinks. People only let me stay because they trust Cecil... not because they trust me.

Zeb: Maybe.. but at least you can walk through town without getting your head lopped off. Tolerated... is better than hated. But then, I suppose I did it to myself. There is no escape from the wrong choice.
