Ben and Leona are packing and planning for their trip to the new Lunar Homeworld.

Zeb is adjusting to life in BS Baron, and applies for a job at an airship factory.

Tai is also in BS Baron, sent there to keep an eye on things should Zazo reappear and start trouble.

Cecil (BS) is still troubled, trying to figure out what’s going on between Zeb’s appearance and the return of the White Dragon.

Junior attempts to tell his friends what all has been happening, but they don’t appear to fully believe his stories and theories.

Kip remains working in SAM’S, adjusting well to life in the tavern of DS Baron.

FuSoYa tells Ben about Kip’s past as KiNaTu, or at least, as much of Kip’s past as he knows. This encompasses some of Kip’s time on the planet Runne, as well as how he arrived on the Blue Planet. From these stories, Ben realizes Kip was likely in Zot, though Ben does not directly remember him.

Meanwhile, Leona and NaTu chat and share differences between Lunars and Humans as they explore the colony. Leona decides she wants to try and find Ben’s old room there in the libraries, and drags poor NaTu into her expedition. They do, indeed, find the room, along with more than they’d bargained for.

Ben catches Leona and NaTu in his old room in the Lunar library after the runic alarm on his Dark Lord armor goes off. Leona tells him that investigating his room was partly due to her curiosity to learn more about him. In return, Ben balks at the ideas of sharing information about himself.

NaTu senses the tension between them and devises a way to help them better connect and share the things that they hold most secret. Afterwards, FuSoYa arrives and informs a semi-reluctant NaTu that NaTu is being assigned to go to the Blue Planet to research and learn about the humans.

There, she meets Tai, who appears as he once was during his Neoflian days as TsuYa. This is not a dream-Tai, but the actual Tai, who has been pulled into the Chaos dreamscape.

Zazo unknowingly mind controls Tai into acting as she pleases after he doesn’t show her the adoration she wants. Then, a modified dream-version of Zemi appears, complementing Zazo and furthering her feelings of superiority.

Afterwards, the shade of Zerom approaches Zazo in the dream, coaxing her to use Chaos to get the things that she wants. Eventually, Tai turns fully Marked due to the Chaos within the dreamscape, and this wakes both of them from the dream.

Still, upon waking, Zazo decides to use Chaos to enact her plans to obtain Tai. Meanwhile, in the BS Baron airship factory, Tai wakes from the dream, shaken. He’s greeted by a fellow worker, Resol, who leaves the night’s rations of fish stew (ew), and Tai ponders the meaning of the dream.

Junior gets tasked with cleaning the Golbez statue in the gardens. There, he talks with Sarafina about the unusual happenings as of late, and grieves the loss of his older brother, Job.

The young dragon, Blue, bursts in on the scene, followed by his handler, Kain Highwind (BS).  They come across Zemi, who is playing with the local children in dragon form while waiting for Kory and KluYa to finish their business in the castle.

Uncertain of an unknown dragon, Kain pulls the children away from Zemi, and Blue investigates. However, when Zemi speaks, both become alarmed and Blue turns defensive.

Kory and KluYa return, and find Zemi cornered by Blue and Kain. Kory talks his way out of this situation, too, stating that Zemi’s ability to talk is a part of an experiment.

However, Kain senses something different about Zemi. Before Kain can make a closer observation, KluYa scares off the snarling Blue, forcing Kain to have to rush after him.

Kory and KluYa explain to Zemi that dragons in their world don’t talk, and those who do are considered a danger. When Zemi shifts back into person form, Kory then explains that dragons with a person form are also considered evil and dangerous, much to Zemi’s frustration.

Walking through the Baron gardens, the three come upon statues of previous heroes, including one of Tellah. Kory and KluYa discuss things of the past and happenings of the Crystal War. KluYa also talks about Zeb’s employment at Baron’s airship factory.

Zazo appears, interrupting their lunch and discussion. She’s taken AsaHi and Miran hostage and demands Tai as an exchange to free them.

In the Borderlands, Zemi, KluYa, and Kory discuss what to do about Zazo’s demands. Zemi is distressed because he identifies Chaos in Zazo and hopes that Tai might be able to do something to talk her down from it. However, they have heard nothing from Tai.

Ben and Leona arrive, and get the overview of the situation. Shortly after, Tai also arrives, blaming his lateness on the “stupid rifts.” He also gets filled in on what’s going on, and shows concern over the fact Zazo may be leaning towards Chaos.

Noting that Miran and AsaHi have family who want to bring them home, and Tai does not have living family left, he chooses of his own free will to give himself up for the exchange. He’s not happy about the situation, and makes it clear as he leaves the Cottage, walking out right as Zazo Chaos-rifts into the front yard.

She’s happy to see him and claim him, though Tai warns her against the Chaos. When Tai reminds her that this is an exchange, she brings forward Miran and AsaHi. When she moves to uphold her end of the bargain, Tai walks through her Chaos rift.

However, as she goes to make the exchange, she stops and changes the terms of the bargain. She demands that Zemi gives himself over to her as well. Zemi begrudgingly does this in order to rescue AsaHi and Miran, but Zazo only hands over Miran, and then leaves.

Miran turns out to be Drake in disguise, ready to fight the Ya family. KluYa tells Ben to escape with Kory and Leona, and Ben takes them through the rift to DS Baron. There, Leona suggests it’s time to ask for help from Cecil.

After a bit of arguing, Tai accuses Zazo of going Chaotic, which upsets both of them. He then tries to persuade her to give up the Chaos energy, to which she eventually agrees.

Zazo takes Tai to a place in the Troian forest where she’s keeping Zemi prisoner. They plan on talking things out with Zemi and getting everything sorted out. However, once they get there, Drake arrives.

He tells Zazo he’s taken care of the Borderlands and everyone there is dead. She freaks out about this, and goes to the Borderlands, only to find it burning in a Chaotic mess. An illusion of Zerom tells her that spilling Earthian blood seals the pact of Chaos and that she can do nothing to break free of it.

Zazo frantically returns to Troia, crying to Tai about the turn of events, scared that she will become Chaotic. The Others, a group of Arweinydd who are led by Archodys, appear, and offer to cleanse her of Chaos through Remaking.

It doesn’t take long for Drake to realize he’s outmatched in this fight. However, Sygnus won’t kill Drake because he recognizes that Drake is from a different time-frame, and that could mess up the flow of time.

Sygnus is able to subdue Drake, and they send him through a rift, back to his appropriate time in the past. He ends up in Baron of the BS dimension, in the care of Sir Farrel and Sir Highwind.

Archodys then goes into details he’s gleaned from the Time Before on how the Dragons preyed upon the Arweinydd as an energy source. This then led to a war that tipped things into the Mistake.

To demonstrate, Archodys calls out a lesser-formed Arweinydd, Omakyn. He then places Omakyn on the Unmaker he developed from Dragon knowledge and begins to siphon out Omakyn’s energies. Disgusted, Zemi stops the process, and tells Omakyn that he doesn’t have to follow Archodys’ cruel instructions.

Zemi also points out that Archodys is in person form while Omakyn is not, and questions why Archodys did not Remake himself. Frustrated with Zemi, Archodys transport Zemi to the location of the Remaking.

There, Zemi and Zazo are reunited. Zemi does his best to reassure Zazo as the Remaking begins.

Sygnus attempts to hold of Archodys and the Others while KluYa and Kory escape with Zemi and Zazo through the rift. During the battle, Archodys shoves Sygnus into the Remaker, which Sygnus then destroys. However, this leaves him unstable, which separates him into Ben and Cecil once more.

Archodys then orders all of the imprisoned for study purposes. Omakyn is set to be their guard.

Chapter 63

Locations: Baron (BS Dimension)

Creation Date: May 29, 2014 - Sep 7, 2014

Zeb is working in the airship factory in BS Dimension Baron when the crystal shard he carries begins to react to something erratically. Investigating, Zeb is led to Tai, who, without his connection to Zemi, is fading fast.

Zeb senses that Tai has similar energies as those in Zot and concludes that someone from Zot has sent Tai to spy on him or even bring him back to Zot. Unexpectedly, the energies of the crystal shard connect with Tai to sustain and wake him. When Tai wakes, his eyes have taken on their regular green color, indicating he’s no longer a servant of Zemi.

Zeb openly accuse Tai of being a spy from Zot, to which Tai is baffled. Bossman and other factory workers interrupt the heated discussion before it can escalate, and Tai is assigned to Zeb’s wing of the factory as the water boy.

Zeb and Tai talk while on shift, and Tai reveals that he has figured out that Zeb is actually Golbez. Though Zeb is threatened by this, Tai reiterates that he’s not working for anyone from Zot. Zeb eventually explains to Tai that the crystal shard he carries reacted to Tai’s presence and was what revived him.

Later that night, Tai attempts to sneak out of the factory, but is stopped by some unknown force. Outside of the building, he’s attacked by Resol and Resol’s two thugs, who rough Tai up to teach him the “order of things” around the factory.

Zeb stops the bullying and chooses to defend Tai from them. This is when Zeb also reveals to Tai that Tai has been bound to the crystal shard, which is why he couldn’t stray too far.

Zeb and Tai work together to take out the thugs, and send Resol running off in fear. However, before Zeb can get too suspicious about some of Tai’s Marked indicators that came out during the battle, the Bossman instructs everyone to go back to their rooms.

Tai still wants to go to the Borderlands to check on what happened there, but he doesn’t want to clue Zeb into who he is, so he has to accept that he’s stuck to Zeb’s crystal and return to the factory. Zeb is, however, sympathetic and indicates he will try to help Tai out.

Ben extends a friendly conversation to Omakyn and the two quickly warm up to each other, exchanging knowledge. KluYa asks to be released and shows Omakyn the bad effects happening due to being trapped in the Arweinydd Realms.

Omakyn doesn’t want to see the Earthians get hurt, but expresses concern about what Archodys will do to him if he releases them. Ben then suggests that Omakyn come with them to the Blue Planet to escape Archodys. To this, Cecil disagrees.

Omakyn eventually does decide to release them, but this expends most of his energy, reducing his form to a small purple sparkle. Ben carefully takes Omakyn with them, and warps them out of the Arweinydd Realms. However, on the other side of the rift, they discover Zazo and Zemi have disappeared.

From a distance, Junior witnesses them come through the rift. He decides to follow them, determined to capture them as criminals.

Later, Zazo wakes up somewhere in Troia. She finds herself in a camp with AsaHi and Miran. Though there is a language barrier between the two women, Zazo is able to understand both Common and Nefolian languages.

Neither woman recognizes who Zazo is. And when Zazo begins to freak out due to feeling pain for the first time, she lashes out at them both. They end up restraining her due to her bad behavior.

Eventually, they do offer her some food as Zazo is feeling hungry for the first time ever. During conversation, Miran and AsaHi realize they both know of KluYa.

She quickly takes to Zemi and invites him to dinner. There, Zemi meets Drake’s young daughter, Bernice. Drake is very protective of Bernice and doesn’t want Zemi’s bad influence rubbing off on her (good luck with that).

Drake then tells Zemi that he will be training under Drake starting the next morning. Zemi is also welcome to stay with Drake’s family until Zemi’s own family comes to find him.

Ben and Kory eventually wake up and they make plans to go back to the Borderlands to check the state of the pocket dimension. Ben notes that the Chaos flood there is dangerous as it could leak into one or both of the adjacent dimensions.
